Dave Provenza — Vocals	Dave has been playin drums for over 29 years! He’s been lead singing for over 7 years now. He's been in bands like Spontaneous Combustion, White Collar Possum, Nonsuch, Old Dog New Trick and My Dad's iPod! Never shy, you never know what he'll wear, say or do at the shows! Sorry ladies... he's married, but you can still put his poster on the wall next to your Shaun Cassidy one! The new front man for Private Label, he brings the energy and showmanship, all while showcasing the boys in the band!
John Hernan — Guitar	John Hernan plays lead and rhythm guitar in Private Label. He first leaned the guitar in grade school from a Nun and played in a church folk group. With the desire to move on to rock and roll, during high school he took two years of study at Showcase Music Institute in San Jose. He started playing in bands in the 1980s and has done hundreds of shows over the years. In the early 80s he was a founding member of Nitro along with Mark Viera, and they have played together in several bands since. John went on to play in Plain Shame and Plan 9, working at clubs in the South Bay Area. Russ, Mark V. and John have been friends for many years and worked together in Louisiana Rain. They were together again in the multi genre band Maneck, playing rock, grunge, reggae and soul. Private Label is the first time John has been the only guitar player in a band. He enjoys the challenges of covering all the parts, with a lot of help from technology! His favorite inspiration is the great guitarist and philosopher Jason Becker.
Kurt Bentley — Drums	Kurt started off playing classical guitar which naturally led to... drums? When he had the opportunity to get a drum set, he spent the best $250 of his life and never looked back. Kurt has been playing drums for almost 30 years and cites influences such as Steve Gadd, Ian Paice, Sean Kinney, Tommy Aldridge, and Stewart Copeland. He still drums for Doug and the Carnival of Souls Revue. "I'm looking forward to playing with Private Label and making some great music!"
Mark Viera — Keyboard	Mark Viera plays keyboard in Private Label. He started playing piano, organ and synthesizers in the early eighties just as computers were beginning their profound effect on keyboard technology. He combined his interests in music and high fidelity stereo equipment to capitalize on the new, creative freedoms the technology presented. In 1981 he and John were two of the founding members of the band Nitro, which played the radio hits of the day while they were still hits! After several years away from music, he joined the band Louisiana Rain with fellow Private Label members John and Russ. Mark also played in the San Jose based classic rock band Maneck where he first met Mark Smith.
Russell Vazquez — Bass	Russell Vazquez is the bass player for Private Label. He also plays bass for OMANI, My Dad's iPod and Doug & The Carnival of Souls Revue. He has been playing music since the age of eight. During the 70's 80's and 90's as a member of the bands Windjammer, Aryon and Doug led to him to perform in such legendary Bay Area clubs as The Keystone (Palo Alto, San Francisco) and the Mabuhay Gardens. When Russ was in hard rocker Aryon he recorded and toured in support of their album Rebels Of The Night, which enjoyed airplay on radio stations KSJO and the legendary KOME. In addition to playing bass and singing harmony, he also plays guitar and keyboards. Getting back into music in the mid 2000's, Russ has shared the stage with such notable artists as Don Carlos, The Itals, Edi Fitzroy, Winstrong, and Mystic Man, and has also performed at events with artists like Kymani Marley, Israel Vibration, Big Mountain, Prezident Brown, and many more.
